  My brother-in-law has just passed away. He had a stair lift fitted by Eden Mobility. Sadly he died quicker than was expected, which means that out of the 2 weeks he had it, it was used about half a dozen times. They normally give £300 pounds refund if it is returned within 12 months. My sister was given an extra £100 as a 'goodwill gesture'. It cost just over £1300 which gives them a profit of almost £1,000.
  I find this a very distasteful practice and disrespectful to bereaved relatives because that stair lift could now be sold as new for a further profit.
